OMB announced its intention to purchase the business in March this year. Richard Turner, CEO of BEL Valves, said: “Having reviewed our positioning in the valves market, our decision has been to refocus on our conventional product lines from our UK based facility. The sale of our Milan based facility to OMB Valves brings strong synergies and opportunities for our team in Milan and will allow the business to carve a sustainable path within their market segments.”

Simone Brevi, Managing Director of OMB Valves, said: “We are pleased to have completed the acquisition of BEL Valves S.r.l.. The Milan facility of BEL Valves has a great deal of experience in the manufacture of project focused API 6D ball and gate valve products, which will be an excellent addition to our portfolio.

“We will continue to work with BEL Valves to ensure the business is integrated seamlessly into the OMB group”
